Tandems, AFF Level 1, and the ticket book are booked online. Coaching and courses are arranged at manifest.

Tandem Jump

Freefall from 13,500 feet attached to an instructor with a USPA tandem rating. Training and gear included. Plan on about four hours on the ground. 18 and up, under 230 lb.

AFF Level 1

A full day of ground school on Saturday, then your first student freefall with two instructors holding on. Levels 2 to 7 follow at $229 each, booked as you pass them.

10-Jump Ticket Book

Ten slots to 13,500 feet for licensed jumpers at $28 a jump, good for twelve months. Single tickets are $32 at manifest. Show your card and logbook on your first visit.

Coaching Jump

A two-way with one of our coaches, aimed at newly licensed jumpers working toward the B. Includes a video debrief on the laptop in the hangar.

Tunnel Coaching

Two of our AFF instructors coach at an indoor tunnel in the Valley on weekday evenings. You pay the tunnel for the time and us for the coaching.

Canopy Course

Four hours in the classroom on flight patterns, braked turns, and landing in a crosswind, then two jumps with radio and video. Run once a month.

What to expect

How a tandem morning runs

Plan on about four hours from check-in to the drive home. The jump itself takes about seven minutes.

8:00am, check in

Photo ID, waiver on the tablet, and a weigh-in on the scale by the counter. We do weigh everyone, so please give us an honest number when you book.

Training and harness

Twenty minutes with your instructor on the arch, the exit, and lifting your legs for landing. Then the harness, checked by your instructor and again by a second one.

The ride up

About eighteen minutes in the Caravan. Picacho Peak shows up out the left side about halfway.

Freefall and canopy

About fifty seconds of freefall, then five minutes under canopy and a sit-down landing on the pea gravel by the hangar.

Before you come out

What first-timers ask manifest

Weight, age, weather, video, and how long to plan for.

You need to be 18 or older with a photo ID, and under 230 lb on our scale at check-in. That limit comes from the tandem gear, not from us, so we cannot bend it on the day. If you are close, call manifest before you book.

About four hours. Check-in is at 8am, and most tandems are on the ground by noon. A wind hold can stretch that, so do not book a flight home the same afternoon.

We hold, and if it does not clear we stand down. You can move to another day or take a full refund. October through April is our best stretch, and most cancellations are wind after lunch rather than cloud.

Yes. Handcam video and photos from your instructor are $99, added at check-in. You get the files on your phone before you leave.

No. Bring your USPA card and logbook, sign the waiver, and get on the board at manifest. The ticket book saves $4 a jump if you will be back more than a few times this year.
